Bella Woody
Actress | Singer

Hello! I'm Bella Woody, a Philadelphia and New York-based actress and singer. As a versatile and deeply empathetic artist, I am passionate about developing performances that cultivate understanding and connection between people.

I recently graduated with a BFA in Acting from Ithaca College, where I spent four enriching years in the Center for Music, Theatre, and Dance. I feel incredibly fortunate to have grown in this craft alongside such talented educators and performers.

Since completing my training, I've eagerly transitioned into the professional arts world, actively applying my education in diverse environments and embracing every opportunity to bring my skills to the stage and screen.
I was so happy to conclude my time at IC playing Dunn in our production of Men on Boats, as well as begin my professional career in Ithaca understudying the lead role in a new musical, Extended Stay, at the Kitchen Theatre Company this summer. I had the exciting opportunity to go on for half of the performances, as well as learn the ropes of other production disciplines as the production's Assistant Stage Manager and Intimacy Captain.

It feels incredibly serendipitous that my professional journey began in the very same town where my undergraduate training culminated, and I feel so lucky to have experienced both in this wonderful, cultivated community of art and artists.

When I'm not performing, I'm listening to my favorite music artists. Through my headphones or my record player speakers, I breathe in their sound like air. They are constant inspirations played on repeat and woven into the fabric of my being.

If I'm not listening to music, I'm usually outdoors, hanging with my three younger siblings, cracking jokes with friends, or playing with my dogs.
I cannot wait for what the future has in store, and I am so excited to continue working with fellow artists who believe in expressive storytelling and the power of connection through art.
